BRINGING DOWN A DEER

A special Act of Parliament in Now Zealand provides that deerstalkers stall use only soft-nosed ammunition. The finest and safest cartridge in the world for this purpose is the “C.A.C." Special Soft-Nosed .303 cartridge. When it hits it kills. Its smashing power is tremendous and. exceptional. It never misses fire or goes wrong in any way. _ In deerstalking it is of supreme importance that trustworthy ammunition shall be used, because the dcor-stalker knows that he may only get one or two, good shots in a season. That is why such fastidious pains are taken to make the “C.A.C.” .303 Soft-Nosed cartridge absolutely deadly—the ideal cartridge for deer-stalking. The Colonial Ammunition Company has never yet received a complaint about these cartridges. The demand for them increases every season. The keenest, most experienced, and most successful deer-stalkers will use no other. It is only men who have not tried and proved the “C.A.C.” .303 Special SoftNosed cartridge that dream of usnm any other ammunition for deer-stalking. Among men who know the game, to use any other almost seems to savour of impropriety. “C.A.C.” Cartridges are a necessary part of the deer-etalker’s equipment. 21
