It is expected that Sir A. K. R-ollit, who was appointed arbitrator in connection with the London dockers’ dispute, will give his award to-morrow. Tiro railway workers councctod with tho Port of London Authority engaged in handling shipping traffic have decided to join tho dockers.
LIVERPOOL STRIKE ENDED
CONCESSIONS TO THE MEN
An agreement has been signed ending the Liverpool strike. It concedes recognition of the dockers’ union and union rates of pay.

QUEENSLAND STRIKE
TRANSPORT WORKERS’ CONFER-
ENCE CALLED
SYDNEY, August 5
A conference of the Waterside Workers, Federated Seamen’s, and Federated Carters and Drivers’ Unions has been called to be held at Brisbane on Wednesday next, to discuss matters in connection with the sugar strike.
Delegates from the other States have hurriedly left for the North. Tho conference is likely to have an important effect upon the position. Fears are expressed in some quarters that it may be the percursor of a general strike of transport workers.
