STANDARD OIL COMPANY EVADES THE LAW.

The Standard Oil Company, in accordance with the decision of the Supreme Court, has decided to dissolve thirty-five subsidiary companies. The method followed is to distribute the stock of. the subsidiary companies among the parent . company’s shareholders.

Financiers declare that, although the law is observed, the trust is no less a trust than as before.
