SAT., presided at Saturday’s sitting of the Magistrate’s Court, For having assaulted Charles William Baker, Henry Bennett was fined 40s, with witnesses’ expenses 12s, In default throe days’ impr|ronment. John Brady, was convicted of drunkenness, and was flood 20s, or seven days’ imprisonment. For importuning in Victoria street, Winnie Brown was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment. An application by Abraham Barsht for a pawnbroker’s license was granted.
