FBESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, July 27. \ Press Association telegram states that Mr L. R. Phillips. M-P. for Unitemata, has announced that, owing to family reasons, he will not seek reelection. A committee has been appointed to arrange for a meeting of Opposition supporters for the purpose of selecting a candidate to contest the seat. Mr 11. Murray, Mayor of Grey Lynn, lias been approached by a representative deputation to stand ioi riio Grev Lynn the Hon. G. Fmvld.Y seat, at the forthcoming elections. Mr Murray promised the deputation to consider tho matter.
