MAGISTRATE'S COURT

William Kennedy, who had previously pleaded guilty to the theft of wearing apparel and goods, valued at £ 5 , the property of George Miles, was sentenced by Mr W. G. Riddell, S.M., at. the Magistrate’s Court on Saturday to tihree months’ imprisonment. John Richard Page was lined 10s or twenty-four hours’ imprisonment. for drunkenness, and for a breach of a prohibition order was fined 40s, with the option, of seven days’ imprisonment. Annie Jackson, charged with vagrancy, was further remanded till July 22ud.
