According to crop conditions on July Ist, it is estimated that tho American winter wheat *yield will be four hundred and sixty million bushels, and the spring yield two hundred and seventy million bushels. COTTONThe Liverpool quotation for American middling upland cotton, July-August shipment, is 7.43 d, a drop of 18i points on the week. COPRA, Copra is in good demand. South Sea Island, in bags, is quoted at £24 to £24 2s 6d per ton, a rise of £1 5s to £1 7s 6d on the week. JUTE. Jute, native first marks, August shipment, is quoted at £22 15s per ion, a drop of 15s on the week. HEMP. The hemp market is inactive. June-Angus! shipment is quoted at £2l £>s. per ton. RUBBER. . Fine hard Para rubber is quoted at 4s s!d per lb, a rise of 2Jd on the week. HIDESHides are neglected, and have been withdrawn. There, is no business doing in leather or basils. RABBITS AND HARES. There is more inquiry fer rabbits, and the market shows a slight hardening tendency. A few hares to arrive in August are selling at 2s. FROZEN MEAT. The New Zeajand Loan and Mercantile Agency ’ Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house, dated July 14th: There is a moderate demand at slightly reduced rates for mutton and lamb, ana the market for beef is weaker.
