REPEJ3SENTATION COMMISSION MEETS NEXT WEEK. Tlio Representation Commission to rearrange the doctoral boundaries of New Zealand in consequence of population changes indicated by tbo recent census will meet in Wellington on Tuesday next, July XBth. The first business will be to consider the population totals from the general standpoint and ascertaining the quota, or average number of persons to be included in the electorates. Then the important question of the North Island's increased proportion of seats will be decided, and the seotions of the Commission from each island will finally meet separately to readjust boundaries.

There will be a change in the personnel of both sections owing to the retirement of a ndminted member from each, but. the Government is not yet in a position to announce the names of the new members.
