"T*HIS house is of a more expensive Uo- * sign than an/ previously shown in thee© columns. It is roomy, and has all the accommodation and conveniences of a strictly up-to-date town house or suburban residence. Tho ground plan covers a space 31 feet in width by 5G feet in depth, exclusive of tho piazzas or verandahs. It is designed to bo of wooden iramo construction throughout, using extra heavy studs for the outside waLs.

The first floor is elevated four feet above ground level, and the stories are 9 feet 6 inches and 8 foot G inches in the clear, whilo there is a basement of * S feet. The entrance is at the left-hand side, frith a reception room and music room in front and living and dining rooms at the back, tho four rooms opening together en suite if desired,- with wide sliding doors. Behind the dining and living rooms is a crossway hall, with side entrance, largo cloak closet and toilet room. At the rear is tho kitchen.

with pantry and china closet; also stairsleading from basement to third story. There is on© main chimney, with a large' fireplace’ in the living room, and a roar chimney with kitchen range and laundry directly below connected with a drying room.

The floor of the main vciandah may be laid with cement tile.
