Somebody has been making a few curious Biblical computations, and "T.P.'s (Weekly" publishes them Taking first the Old Testament, it will be found that it contains 39 books, 029 chapters, 33.214 verses, and 533,493 words, made up of \a total of 2,728,100' letters. The New Testa-' merit is smaller than the Old one, and contains but 27 books, 260 chapters, 7,959 verse«, 181,253 words, and 833,350 letters. From this it will bo seen that the Old and New Testaments together contain 66 books, 1,189 chapters, 4,173 verses, 774,746 words, -and 3,566,480 letters. The Apocrypha consists of 14 books, 183 chapters, 6 031 verses, 125,185 words, and 1,063.876 letters. And one can buy a copy of the Bible from a penny* upwards I
