The Government steamer Hin-eraoa completed her landing at the Cook Strait lighthouses yesteiday morning, and returned to port in the afternoon. Messrs W. Cable and Co. have commenced repairs to the vessel’s stern, which was damaged by tho Himltangi at Lyttelton a few weeks ago. Two new steel plates will be placed in the vessel's hull.
