The City Council invites tenders for cast-iron pipes and castings. Tenders are invited by the Public Works Department for tile manufacture of a buoy for Barclay Bock, Stewart Island; steel and ironwork for bridges on the Gisborne-Kotorua railway; erection of post office at Poriruu; and supply of Australian hardwood sleepers. Mr William Parsons’ property atPnkearuiie, comprising -173 acres, subdivided into three lots, is to be sold by Newton King at New Plymouth on July 29th. A large number of businesses and properties of all descriptions -are advertised for sale by P. P. Corkili, New Plymouth. Veitch and Allan announce a varied assortment of bargains for to-day. Nest Wednesday J. W. Braithwaite and Co. will sell horses, harness and vehicles at Nag’s Head Yards. Dixon street.
The directors of the Upland Estate Company have decided to realise upon tile unsold portion of their estate. To bring this about as speedily as possible prices have been fixe-d at a low standard, it is claimed that this will ensure purchasers considerable profit in the near future.
