Newton King has received instructions from Mr Jus. Rutherford, of Eahotu, to sell by auction, at New Riymouth, on August sth, his coastal properties, comprising 535 acres of freehold land in i farms ranging from 111 to 160 acres, also 310 acres of West C.S.R. ■ leasehold in o.ue farm. The City Council invites tenders for cast-iron pipes and castings. Tenders are invited by the Public Works Department for tile manufacture of a buoy for Barclay Bock, Stewart Island; steel and ironwork for bridges on the Gisborne-Kotorua railway; erection of post office at Poriruu; and supply of Australian hardwood sleepers. Mr William Parsons’ property atPnkearuiie, comprising -173 acres, subdivided into three lots, is to be sold by Newton King at New Plymouth on July 29th.
