Again yesterday tho Industrial Exhibition was vi&itcd by a large number of people, tho total passing through the turnstiles being 1583. Tho various stalls and sideshows all appeared to do good business. Altogether 113,391) people have inspc-cted the display of local industries. Tho cash taken yesterday amounted to XIS 355. "EXHIBITION DAY." Saturday, the 2*3nd inst., is to take the form of “Exhibition Day." On this clay the stallholders will take charge of the display, and some .£2OO has been guaranteed by various exhibitors to defray tho cost of advertising and the allocation of prize money. Many of the firms exhibiting have promised to make up hundreds of samples for free distribution. Some novel forms of entertainment are promised, and a record crowd should be drawn, IFF THE STADIUM CONCLUSION OF CORONATION TOURNAMENT. .SNADDON DEFEATS PRINCE. Last evening th© full-rink Coronation Bowling Tournament was concluded. Speculation had been rife as to who would bo the winner of the final. Some picked Brackeuridge and others Prince. The latter player was most favoured because his rink had come through all th" seoHonal games without a loss. The semi-final, however, put Brackeuridge out of count, and Prince succumbed to Snaddon in tho final. Following were the results: SEMI-FINAL. Prince 18 beat Brackenrjdgo 5. Snaddon 13 beat Ballantyne 8. FINAL. PAIRS TOURNAMENT. COMMENCES TO-DAY, Bowlers will bo in possession of the Stadium for some days yet. This afternoon the pairs tournament commence®, and some interesting games should take place. Play commences at 2 o’clock and continues till 10. Following is the draw for the games between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.:— Prince r. Ballinger. Novill v. Arden. Pollock v. Thompson. Williamson v. DimockBanks v. Campbell. W. Hendry v. Hill. The above will be required at 4 p m. to play on till 6, The draw for the games between 6 and 8 p.m. is as follows: Brackonridge v. Webb. Parata v. McWhannell. Wylie v. Ballantyne. Noble v. Routley. Crawford v. Griffiths, Kelly v. Taplin. The same players will ho. wanted to play from 8 to 10. THE TENNIS TOURNAMENT. ENTRIES CLOSE TO-DAY. Tennis players are reminded that entries for the tournament, which is to commence shortly, dose to-day. Already a number of well-known players have entered so the tournament should not lack interest. HOCKEY. SEVEN-A-STDE TOURNAMENT. Followers of hockey—and there are many—should bo interested in tho seven-a-side .tournament which is to take place on July 13th. Prizes are to bo awarded for the winning teams. The time for receiving entries closes on Monday next at 5 p-.m. with tho secretary of the Wellington Hockey Association.. The entrance fee is 7s -per team. BOY SCOUT NIGHT. TO ASSIST THE HEPPLES. The Boy Scouts are to provide entertainment in the Stadium on July 14th. A special programme has been provided, and as the proceeds are to bo devoted to the Hepplo fund the public should not fail to extend their patronage. THE WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP. , AROUSING MUCH INTEREST. To use a. common expression, a "dingdong go" should result” in the match in which Louis Robertson is, on July 20bh, to wrestle Joe Gardiner for tho lightweight professional championship of New Zealand and a purso of X*2o. In wrestling circles considerable interest is being evinced in the match, and as the two participants are no mean exponents of this form of athletic development there is great doubt as to which man will ho the victor.
