RIFLE SHOOTING

(To the Editor "N.Z. Timea.") Sir,—l notice in yonr columns of this date a letter on the above subject, signed "Cordite,” and agree. with him that a grave mistake has been made in the selection of tho Bisley rifle team, after the excellent exhibition of rifle shooting given by the Suburbs Rifle Club in tho shoot for tho “Daily Mail" Cup. "Cordite” in his 'letter suggests that they should shoot against local teams a couple of times with a view of discovering an odd stand-by or two up to IC4. I agree that a further trial should bo hold, because I am satisfied, after reading tho names of those who made 104. that the Suburbs Club can easily unearth other members capable of compiling tho possible of 105, and they would thus further add to their Tanrels.—l am, May 25th. LEAD PENCIL.
