THE Y.M.C.A.

A very pleasant time was spent in the Y.M.C.A. Hall on Thursday afternoon, when Hcsdames Webb, Possette, Ilott, Bennett, Ralph and AVaterhouse, who are arranging for a fancy stall _ for the coming bazaar, invited their friends to a "gift afternoon." The reception hall lent itself to a charming decoration and bright fires gave a cheery' and cosy appearance. Airs AVehb, president of the Y.AI.CiA. Ladies’ Auxiliary, received tho guests, and Airs Lindsay and Aliases Upham, Barnard, and Allen contributed a very enjoyable musical and elocutionary programme.. The fancy work stall will bo benefited by a large number of very beautiful articles. ,
