ij vK Operations 'BY USING THE FAMOUS AUSTRALIAN © LUCAS 9 Q icSALii* T TESTIMONY TO PAPAW FRUIT. iHE following report on the use of Dr. Lucas’ Papaw Ointment, as tested in London hos= pitalis, is published in the London “Medical Magazine ’ for May, 19m. The report says:— M 3. Thes;e ferments, obtained from the Papaw, are made up in the form of an ointment and o-ande and are recommended as an application' to enlarged and swollen glandular tissues, the deolstts of chronic inflammation, tumors, and ulcerations The present preparation seems to combine the most active ferments of the plant in a successful manner. Its activity was demon, strand by several cases of hypertrophy of the turbinal bodies, and in cases of enlarged tonsils. Alterlhree to four weeks’ application there was a very marked .mprovement. There can be no doubt that the preparation is unusually effective, and should prove very serviceable, obviating the neoess!tv"for 'operative procedures in many cases. Such operative procedures are often adopted much too hastily. The present ferments are well deserving of a trial, and m many cases we have no doubt the result will be very satisfactory. . TUMOURS ON THE NECK. My son, Leonard ■ Andersen, at present working for Mr. D. Duthi° Grocer Newtown, was suffering with Tumours on the neck for the past ten months. Two doctors saw him and ordered an immediate operation, after which they told me they could do nothing further for him and ordered him into the hospital. As an" indoor patient he was operated upon twice again without success and was looked upon as incurable. In February of this year .he underwent Dr. Lucas Papaw treatment, which brought away a discharge and now the wounds are healed and he is quite well. Mrs. Sarah Andersen, Sutherland Road, Melrose, Wellington. Witness, James Embury;, J.P., Wellington, 16th March, 1911. GROWTH IN THE BREAST. Nine months ago my wife was suffering from a growth in the breast, the size of a walnut. During September, 1910, she interviewed a medical man of this city, who advised an immediate operation, otherwise in his opinion, he feared she could not live more than six to eight months. I am exceedingly grateful, to think that we heard of Dr. Lucas’ Papaw Remedies, which after applying for a period of three months have removed the growth, and am now thankful to say that my wife is again enjoying her usual good health. This is a frank and voluntary testimonial to the virtue of Dr. Lucas’ Papaw Remedies, from. Ever gratefully yours, Paul Stuen, March 20th, 1911. 30 Scarborough Terrace, Wellington. TUBERCULAR ABSCESS. I feel I must send a voluntary testimonial for the way in which the Papaw Ointment has cured my brother. He is a boy of thirteen years, and a sore appeared just under his ear. For eight mouths he was in the doctor’s hands ; after trying various means to cure it without success, he went under an operation and the bone was scraped. In another month the sore was just as bad. While wondering what further steps to take, a brother clergyman advised me to try the Papaw Ointment. T at once sent for a jar and that ointment thoroughly cured the sore, and did in two months what the doctors could not do in eight. It is about three months since he was cured and except for the scar there is no sign of the sore. While being treated by the doctor he looked so ill that people advised me to put him into the consumptive sanatorium, now there is not a healthier looking boy in the district. I have only written this letter out of gratitude and if it will lead others to the knowledge of the Papaw Ointment, I will be satisfied. Yours sincerely. Clarence H. Corvan, Rector of Brigbton-cum-Eempton, December 19th, 1910. Tasmania. PILES. I have suffered with bleeding and protruding piles for ten years, having tried all kinds of remedies which did me no good. I then tried the Papaw Pile Cure, and after using same for some little time I am quite cured. I thoroughly recommend it to any sufferer. Yours faithfully, George E. L. Watson, * Eildon Road, Windsor. BOILS. For the past five months I have been suffering from boils and carbuncles, being unable to obtain any relief from the doctor’s treatment. I was recommended to try Dr. Lucas’ Papaw Ointment and Pills and testify that I was never before was so satisfied or received such-prompt relief. The splendid action of the Ointment on the sores was remarkable and the cure sure. Yours very truly, William Haughton; : , March 20th, 1911. c/o J. Flyger Sri Co., Wellington.
