GREAT HURRICANE

AT NEW HEBRIDES ' SEVERAL VESSELS WRECKED AND LIVES LOST. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrlsh' (Received May 19, 0.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 18. Advices from Norfolk Island report that a severe hurricane has swept the New Hebrides group. Ten vessels were driven ashore, four being totally lost. The schooner J. B. Charcot was lost at Tanna, the captain and another white man , and live natives being drowned. One native was drowned at Ambryni.
