RACE BETWEEN THE FIRST TWO ACCEPTABLE. By Telaitraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received May 18, 9.35 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 18. R. Amst has received a cable message from Sullivan, stating that Arnst’s terms for a match with Barry are acceptable, provided the race is rowed in December. Sullivan asks that the Fogwoll-Barry match be cancelled. This is not likely to be agreed to. Arnst states that if he defeats Pearce and Barry beats Fogwell he will go straight to England. Harry Floyd and Jack Amst are accompanying Fogwell to England. Barry allows Fogwell only £SO expenses.
