PRESS ASSOCIATION. INVERCARGILL. May 18. The Hon. D. Buddo went to-day to Seaward Moss, and there attended a sale at recently-opened saleyards, and was entertained bv the settlers. Ho delivered an address in which he defended the borrowing policy of the Government. He said people who settled ont back in bush and eWamp oountrv deserved encouragement. Mr G. J- Anderson.- M.P. for Matanra. also spoke. Mr Buddo received peroral deputations in regard to matters of local concern. He leaves bv the first express in the morning for Dunedin.
