NATIONAL PROVIDENT FUND
The quarterly meeting of the National Provident Fund Board was held yesterday, there being present Messrs J. W. Poynton (presiding). Dr Hay, G. F. C. Campbell and E. E. Hayes. The board endorsed tho method of distributing through the post offices, railway stations and employers the necessary literature descriptive of the fund’s operations which are attracting numerous inquiries from all parts of the country. Several questions relating to the rights of contributors were dealt with by the board, which inclined to an interpretation of its powers in favour of contributors.
