CITY COUNCIL TENDERS.
The following tenders have been received by the City Council Supply of gear wheels and pinions, Richardson, Blair and McCabe (accepted), ,£293 195 2d; 11. S. King, -£286 13s -kl; Empire Oil Company, £291 ss; P. R. Baillie and Co., £305; Turnbull and Jones, .£310; A. D. Riley and Co., £433 9s 4d; J. Chambers and Son, £555 16s 8d; F. Holmes, £BB7 10s. (The lowest tender was informal). Supply of. 50 sets armature coils: Richardson, Blair and McCabe (accepted); £213 15s; Empire Oil Co., £225; P. 11. Baillie and Co., £231; British General Electric Co., £23G 10s; Turnbull and Jones, £733 6s Bd. For the annual supply of ironfoundry work the tender of Nielson, Murray, and Frederick was accepted. The unsuccessful tenderers were:—Johns, Wallace, and Muir, W. Cable and Co., and D. Robertson. and Go.
