CHRISTCHURCH DOCTOR INJURED

Sborrly after midnight on ‘ Friday ngiht, Dr Terras Bell, while driving his motor-car down Colombo Sydenham Christchurch, collided heavily with a cart at the corner’of. Tennyson and Strickland streets. Dr Bell, who was alone, was pinned between the steering post, and could not extricate himself, while the horse of the care was thrust forward beside Dr Bell. Dr W.F. Browne, who was summoned, found that Ur Bell had three riba broken, and was badly cut on the arms and v face. ,ihe care was carrying two lights, and at as thought that Dr Bell's; vision must have been obscured by a rain which was falling at the time, or possibly by the glare of the lamp of a motor-cycle which had passed just previously.
