LONDON, March 18.
Mr J. E. Redmond, leader of the Irish Parliamentary party, in. an article in " Reynolds' Newspaper," cites the granting of autonomy to Alsace-Lorraine, and the existence of Germany's twenty-five autonomous States, and adds: " Our own colonial experience, especially the latest instance iu South Africa, has convinced me that the time is near when the successful working of Horae Rule in Ireland will be taken as a matter of course." PRESENTATION TO LORD DUDLEY. (Received March 20, 0.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, March 19. In connection with the St. Patrick's Day celebration, the Governor-General, Lord Dudley, was presented with an address stating that his ; generous advocacy of justice to Ireland had placed Irishmen under a lasting obligation. Lady Dudley was presented with a diamond brooch. >
