A CONSULTING ENGINEER
The necessity for the appointment of a consulting engineer to the Wellington Hospital and' Charitable Aid Board was mentioned by Mr B. 0.; Kirk .at yesterday's meeting'of the board. He" reminded , the board that a considerable araount of work required the attention 'of the engineer at the various institutions under its control, and he had a recommendation by which such an officer might act in conjunction with work of a similar, description at other institutions. At ;. the, suggestion of the chairman. Mr Kirlt gave notice of motion on the subject. , ■ \.
