SHEARING LABOUR
Mr E. AY. Abbott, an officer of the Shearers' Union, has informed a representative of this paper that although the minimum award ior shearing .is 13s 6d, ho kuo«s of only one case where this amount is being received. Generally ill and over is being paid. Owners arc also showing every inclination to work harmoniously with their men, and are paying more attention to the matter ot accommodation.
