JOHN STONE—MON'X AUTTE. A picturesque wedding took place at tlio residence of Mr and Mrs Tree! Mon tagne, in Majoribanks street, yesterday afternoon, when their daughter Myra was married to Mr Trank Ilia Johnstone. Tho house had been beautifully decorated, and masses- of ■ flowers were everywhere in profusion, The ceremony took place in the dining-room, and tho folding doors into the drawing-room were thrown opfu giving plenty of space for the guests. ‘The . decorations, of these rooms deserve special mention, iho arch made by the folding doors was completely covered by lycopodium and huge clumps of blue hydrangea, the effect being most artistic. Quito beautiful, too. were tho masses of pure white bridal flowers in the dining-room, where from; thegasolier hung a wedding bell of white sweet peas. . . Tho bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of soft cream satin channelise, the skirt being braided with corded silk embroidery. Tho bodice was embroidered with pearl trimming and draped with silk lace. She also wore an embroidered veil surmounted with, orange blossoms, and carried _ a bouquet. of marechal roses and jasmine. Tho officiating clergyman was the Her. Mr Elliott. Too brido was attended-‘‘by Miss Johnstone {sister of the bridegroom), who wore a pretty dress of wedgewood blue cropo with • yoke and - sleeves of cream laco, bluo silk insertion, and . a white straw hat trimmed with blue libbon- and pink roses and- blue forgotmo nots.
