Fox (-Mastorton) are in town, staying at tho Grand Hotel. Mrs TV. N. Blair returned from England oil Wednesday, and is staying with Miss Tolhurst, Grant road. At St. Peter's Cljurch yesterday by tlio Bishop of Wellington, assisted by the Ven. Archdeacon Harper, .Mr Victor. Law, of the staff of the New Zealand Xu-, surnnce Company, was married to Miss; Ethel McKellar. second daughter of Mt H. McKellar. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore soft white silk with chiffon roses, a light, holt of soutache lace, and a veil arranged over a wreath of orange blossoms.. Her ornaments included a pearl ring, the gift of the bridegroom. . Thebrides-, nmids were Miss McKellar (sister of the .bride), and Miss I. Haybittle.. They 'wore white silk trimmed with Irish lace, I light belts of Irisdi lace, Peter Pan collars. and pale pink hats trimmed with pink flowers. Their bouquets, as well as gold bangles, were the gifts of -the bridegroom. At the conclusion of the, ceremony Air and Airs McKellar held a; deception at then- residence.
On Wednesday night Miss Fergusson, who has been a member of St. Peter’s choir, was presented with a silver.monnted salad bowl on the occasion of her npm-oaching marriage to Mr Evans.
