HALF-YEARLY MEETING. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received November 22, 9.20 p.m. ) SYDNEY, November 22. At the half-yearly meeting of the Bank of New South Wales, the report, which was adopted, showed a profit of .£301,647. A dividend of 10 per cent, was declared, absorbing £1133,709. Interest on new capital, paid in advance, took £6958; £43,280 was added, to the reserve fund; £IO,OOO to the .officers' provident •fund; and <£7700 carried forward. Advances show an increase of £1,600,000, well spread out over Australasia. The chairman stated that the season had been a favourable one, both in Australia and New Zealand.
