MEXICAN INSURRECTION
RIOTS ON THE BORDER PLOT AGAINST GOVERNMENT FALLS THROUGH. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright MEXICO CITY, November 31. An insurrection was planned for Sunday last in Mexico, but it failed to mature. There was no unusual incident, and further trouble is not anticipated in the city. Riots continue on the Mexican border. The regulars mowed down the rebels at Zacatecas. YAQTJI TRIBES INVOLVED. UNITED STATES TROOPS 'WILL GUARD TEXAN FRONTIER. (Received November 22, 10.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 22. _ Mexicans are eulisting hostile Yaqui Indians to aid in the insurrection against the Government. United States troops will be dispatched to the border of Texas in the event of an invasion. AMERICANS LEAVING CHIHUAHUA NEW YORK, November 22. All American women have been ordered. to keep off the streets in Chihuahua, capital of a northern State of Mexico, bordering Texas, to save themselves from the insults of mendicant Mexicans. Americans are leaving for home, and the situation is strained. MORE OMINOUS REPORTS. MEXICO CITY PARTLY' HELD BY REBELS. (Received November 22, 10.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 22. The Gomez Palacio and seven thousand inhabitants are reported to have been overpowered, and Mexico City is cut off from telegraph communication. Reports are also current of the resumption of the riots at Puebla, and that thirty persons were killed. The Associated Press's leased wire from Laredo, in Texas, to Monterey and Mexico City has been commandeered by the Mexican Government on the plea of military urgency. Riots are reported at Zacatecas and at Torreon, in the province of Coahuila.
