FARMER KILLED BY TRAIN
RAILWAY PRESIDENT RENDERS AID. By Telegraph—Prees Association—Copyright (Received October 25, 10.40 p.m.) OTTAWA, October 35. A special train conveying Sir Thomar Shaughnessy, president of the Canadian Pacific Railroad, struck a farmer’s waggon near Winnipeg. The farmer and hia horses were killed. Sir Thomas Shaughnessy stopped the train to render aid.
