MR. DUNCAN FRASER has not received iui acceptance of his J3IOO Challenge to compete with any shooter in Now Zealand under New Zealand Gun Club Rules at pigeons off 33 yards, with 2Jin. “C.A.C.” CARTRIDGES, against Imported Cartridges. Ho now withdraws tho above Challenge and substitutes A £SO CHALLENGE, to enable his competitor to use a gun chambered to take 2}in. cartridges. Mr. Fraser wall use the “C.A.C.” ordinary 2fiu, Smokeless Cartridge, known to the trade as “Nitro-Special,” which has only been placed on the market this year. It is a low-priced smokeless cartridge designed to compete with tho corresponding imported article of tho same cost. Each shooter’s cartridge to contain ouo oz. of shot only. Each shooter to fire at ICO Live Pigeons. The rise to bo 33 yards. The boundary to bo 40 yards. Mr. Fraser’s cartridges must be pnrcliased from tho trade,, and any shooter who takes up this Challenge must shoot with IMPORTED CARTRIDGES purchased from tho trade only. Each shooter must bring to the ground on day of competition conclusive evidence as to wdioro his cartridges were purchased, also tho receipted account for same. Tho Match to bo shot under New Zealand Gun Club Association Rules. To take place at Wellington before tho end of the present year, 1910. Mr. Charles Haines, Wellington, is to be the holder of the stakes. .■ I Each competitor, to appoint a Referee, who will appoint a third to |act in case of dispute. Tho latter’s [decision to bo final. Acceptances of this Challenge must he handed to Charles Haines, Esq., !Box 47G, G.P.0., Wellington, by letter, land there must bo at the same time enclosed a draft for £SO on .any New .Zealand Bank. Acceptors of .this Challenge must he (members of the New Zealand Gun iClub Association.
