I -visited the Chxistchiirch egg-laying competition last Saturday. It was unfortunately a hurried inspection. A highly profitable day could be spent there. A better guide in going through the pens than the manager, or caretaker, as he is termed, Mr Barker, could not be desired. He is a, keen and practical student of the laying type.
