CO-OPERATIVE FARMING

WANGANUI, May 31. Tho Native Minister, who left to-day for ■Wellington, met up-river natives at Jerusalem, and propounded a scheme for co-operative farming under the direction of a European manager. The natives agreed with the Minister's proposals. The idea is that the natives shall supply their own labour, and share in the profits according to the work they do.
