BOWLING

At a meeting of the directors of the Thorndon Bowling Club, Ltd., the question of holding a series of;social evenings during the winter months was discussed, and it was decided to hold them on the second Wednesday of each month. The first will take place at the club's pavilion on "Wednesday, June Bth, at 8 p.m., and the directors will be glad if members will attend in sufficient numbers to make the fixture a success. Ono shilling will be collected from each member to defray expenses.
