LA CROSSE
The first annual general meeting of, the Columbia La Crosse Club was held on Wednesday night, and was well attended by members.- Mr A. H. Casey occupied the chair, «ehml moved the adoption of the annual report and balancesheet, which showed that the club was in a satisfactory conditiom The olub thanks Colonel H. D. TusKm, Messrs J. G. Duncan, J. Webster, and J. C. Peacock for financial assistance rendered. • Following were elected officers for the ensuing season:—-Patron. Colonel H. D. Tceon/; president. Mr J. Webster; vicepresidents, Dt Albert Martin, Messrs J. J. Devine, G. Frost, H. J. Wynne, M. Kennedy; hem. secretary, Mr It C. Fama; bom. treasurer, Mr P. J. MeGovern; captain, Mir A. H. Casey; vicecaptain, Mr H. McCarthy; committee, Messrs J. F. OTJeary, A. W. Jackson, and F. B. McDonald; hon. auditor, Mr E. Hearn; selection committee, Messrs Fama, Casey and McCarthy; delegates to association, Messrs Casey and Fama. During the evening ten new members were elected. The prospects of the clnb for the coming season are very promising. It was resolved to commence practice at once.
