The State’s mineral production last year was - valued at £7,627,600, a decrease of £982,100 compared with tho previous year* Ibis was largely due to the labour troubles affecting the output of,coal, silver, lead, and copper mines. • ■ The decreases in value were:—Gold, £23,637; silver and lead, £507,253; copper, £54,051; coal • and coke, £734,497. , * Zino concentrates . showed an increase of £440,397.
