In the interprovincial tennis match on Saturday Canterbury beat Wellington in the men's singles and doubles, scoring nine sets to Wellington's four in the singles, and five sets to Wellington's four in the doubles. The particulars are as follow : SINGLES. G. Ollivier (C) beat J. C. Peacock (W) 2-6, 6—3, 6-5. W. Goss (C) beat C. F. Quinnell (W) 6—o, 6-4. R. D. Harman (Q, beat R. St. J. Beere (W) 1-G, 6-0, 6-2. W. H. Kiver (C) beat F. P. Wilson (W) 6-2, 6-5. T. R. Quill (C) lost to F. M. B. Fisher (W) 2—6, 6—2, 2—6. DOUBLES. Burrows and Kiver (C) beat Quinnell and Salmond (W) 2—6, 6—5, 6—l.
