ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
PRESS ASSOCIATION. DU NED IN, January 2. On (Friday last, John McCrorie, a resident of Green Island, left his home to go fishing. He did not return that evening, and a search party on Saturday morning found his body on the Green Island beach, where It hud apparently been washed by tho sea. Deceased was thirty-six years of age, and married. CHRISTCHURCH, January 2. Whilst out driving yesterday afternoon, Catherine Williams, aged thirtyeight, wife of William George Williams, of Linwood, wiis thrown out of a dogcart, owjng to the horse stumbling. When picked up she was unconscious and bleeding at the left oar. Mrs Williams was removed to the hospital, where S i ? t.*?*} -Jr tS-IS 1 ?* 11 ®* s ix morjths’ old child Mrs Williams had in her arms at the time of the accident, escaped unhurt. At the inquest a verdict of "Accidental Death -was returned.
