The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company, has received the following advice from its London office, under yesterday's date: "The frozen meat markof. continues weak, and there is a further fall of Jd In the value of North Island mutton, 'best quality lamb, and fore-quarters of beef. To-day's quotations—Mutton: Canterbury, 4d; Napier, Wellington, and North Island, 3Jd. Lamb: first quality, 33d,; Becond, 3£d. Beef: hinds, 3Jd; fores, 23d."" The New Alpine Gold Mining Company's manager reports for the week ended last Tuesday :—" North face extonded 32 feet; total north from crosscut 417 feet; nothing of value revealed; body of stone came in % feet 6 inches in width, but pinched to 1 foot; top track bearing off east. Expect this stone will lead north.
