AUCKLAND LEAGUE AFFILIATED. ■CONTROLLING 'BODY IN NEW ZEALAND. ruses ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, November 1. The Auckland Rugby League has been advised by the secretary of the English Northern. Rugby Football Union Fiat it has been affiliated to that body. In a letter the secretary states that the English Union will recognise the Auckland League as the governing body in New Zealand, and no visiting New Zealand teams null bo acceptable to the English authorities except under the auspices of the Auckland body. All players also who wish to sign on for English clubs will now require transfers from the Auckland League before they will be allowed to play for any club in the Old Country. Air L. H. Todd will 'act as delegate for the Auckland body on the English Union.
