Basin Reserve—which is no'.v sot apart for the uso of women and children—.should he thrown open to athletes for training purposes, in the evening. The deputation also asked permission to dig a jumping pit in the enclosure. Tho committee was nsketl to grant the use. of tho Basin Reserve for tho following dates:—January Ist, Provincial Championships: January 29th, Civil Service Club's Sports, and .1 day cuoh for. tho Victoria College Snorts, and the!
