The match between tho Australian cricketers and an All-England Eleven was concluded at Scarborough at I o'clock bo-daV, the home team winning by 133 runs'. Tho weather was fine and tho wickot good for tho last stages of tho game. There was a moderate attendance of spectators. FRIDAY’S PLAY. When the Australians continued their first innings yesterday morning the weather was dull. The wicket was faster, and in excellent condition. Armstrong, tho not out man, was joined by O’Connor, and tho two carried on the innings, which stood at 98 for eight wickets. O’Connor added 2 to tho score, and with tho fail of Armstrong’s wickot a few runs later, tho visitors' innings closed for a total of 113, after two hours./- play. ENGLAND IN AGAIN. The Homo team wont to the wickets for tho second time, Hobbs and Rhodes opening. Tho former a difficult chance to Laver at mid-off when ho had raado 16. The first wicket foil at 26, Rhodes being clean bowled. Hobbs batted an hour for his total of 39. He lost his wicket reaching forward to Armstrong. AVith his eighteenth run he completed his 2000 runs for the season. Two for 63. Spooner and Fano gavo no trouble. The third wicket fell for 70, and the fourth for 72.

A fine partnership between Tyldesley and Hutchings ensued. Sunshine was improving the wicket. The century was reached in ninety-five minutes. Hansford and Armstrong were then together, and a spell of steady play followed. The century was hoisted for ninety-five minutes’ play. Hansford lost his wicket in attempting to run out to a short one, and Armstrong fell a victim to one of Carr's googlios. The seventh wicket fell for 112, and the eighth for 121, Cotter played vigorous cricket, and hit two 6’s. Nine for 148.
