The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. reports: —W© had a full entry ox both sheep and cattle. There was a good attendance and keen competition, with result that we had a total clearance with the exception of one pen of steers. Four-year breeding ewes 13s sd, fullmouth owes 10s Id, 2-tooth ewes in lamb 13s 3d to 15s, 4 and 5 year Romney ewes (on account of Mr Buick) 17s Bd, wcaner steers (small) 20s to 30s <kl, store cows 30s to X2 Bs, late calving cows £2 10s to £3 7s del, Shorthorn cows in calf «£3 ss, Shorthorn heifers in calf £4- 3s Gd to £o ss, forward cows <£3 4s to X 3 12s Gd, fat cows £4 to £5 ss, fat heifers £3 17s 6d to <£4. 8s Gd, Si-year steers £4 15s, forward bulocks £6 Bs.

Dalgety and Co. report:—Wo had a fair entry of sheep and cattle. The demand was not as keen as usual. Cull lambs 6s lid, medium mixed lambs 9s id, empty owes 8s Gd to 10s, good mixed hoggets to 12«, forward cows to <£3 11s, empty heifers <£2 to <£2 ss, cows and calves X2 17s, empty cows £2 11s to £2 13e, weaner steers 30s, springing heifers £5.
