By the courtesy of a Wellington resident we are able to reproduce a picture of the atoll upon which the disastrous wreck of the Norwegian barque Errol took place. The ship in the foreground is the barque Annasona, which was wrecked cn the Middleton Reef on January 19th. 1907. The raft party from the Errol searched the Annasona for food, but could find none. They man-
• aged to get some water in the vicinity. The New South Wales Government placed a boat containing provisions on the atoll some , time ago, bnt this mysteriously disappeared. It is • supposed that it was taken away by some passing ship. If the food had remained there many lives would have been saved and the frightful sufferings of the people on the Errol obviated-
