The Otago Shop Tailors and Tailoresses’ Union and the employers in Dunedin, Oamam and Invercargill have, after many conferences, come to a final settlement in connection with, all matters in dispute. The barque Empreza, which arrived at Gisborne on Wednesday from Newcastle, had an exceedingly rough experience off the coast a few days ago. She lost her foretopmast.
