WOMEN.SUFFRAGISTS FINED. (A WARNING AS TO ; PENALTIES IN THE FUTURE. • By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received July 13, 10 p.m.) LONDON, July 13. Tho hearing of the’ cases hgainst the women suffragists who took part in the disturbance outside the Holme of /Commons on Juno 29th; and the subsequent fitonC-throwlng ; by which windows in Government offices were broken, was concluded yesterday, when the Magistrate i (who had adjourned the hearing to consider a question which was raised relating to the right,to petition (the Prime Minister) gave his decision. All the accused were fined, or, In the alternative, ordered to go bo gaol for terms ranging from four to six weeks, ; - The Magistrate intimated that in any future oases of a similar nature the penalty /would bp imprisonment without the option of a fine.
