TO-DAY'S HOCKEY
THB TWO REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES. • The two Manawatu hockey teams which.aro to meet the Wellington representatives to-day arrived from Palmerston by last evening's train. -It'has been decided that the match between Manawatu No. 2 and the Wednesday ■ Hockey Association's team, which is to be played on the, Basin . Reserve, is to start at 30 o'clock instead of at 10.30 as prcyiouslv announced. .Porter, -of t-he Artillery Club,-is to take- the place of Cooiicr'in Wellington's goal. The other match, between Maiiavwatu No. 1 and the Wellington Hockey Association's representatives, is to be plaved at Day's Bay. Players and spectators will need to leave town by the 12 o'clock boat as the match is to start carlv ■in order to ; permit the visitors to get-away homo by the evening train.
