“TWO LITTLE SAILOR BOYS.” Messrs Moynell and Gunn's Dramatic Company appeared again at the Upera House last evening in the new melodrama, “Two Little Sailor Boys,” winch is experiencing a very successful season. The audience was thoroughly enthusiastic, and the more dramatic or humorous situations never failed to evoke hearty applause. The last two nights of “Two Little Sailor Boys” arc announced. On Monday evening a now Australian melodrama, entitled “A Aliner’s Trust” (written hy J. Smith, of Melbourne), will be staged for the first time in Wellington. Tho full strength of the company will be utilised in the cast. The opening scene is that of a goldfield in Arictoria, showing tho miners at work, and the various phases of mining life. ' “sensation” of tho play is tho shipwreck scene, in which the survivors of tho wreck arc rescued by rocket apparatus. The situations are said to he realistic and free from exaggeration, while the plot retains interest till tho final curtain. FULLERS’ PICTURES. 1 The series of magnificent pictures being shown nightly by -Messrs Fuller at tho Theatre Royal are probably the finest seen locally for some months. There a range of subjects that give a remarkable variety of easy information about far-away parts of the earth. Sandwiched between these are good dramatic pictures, and this comic element is good. The next change will ho one of special interest, the programme in course of preparation containing many novelties hitherto not seen in New Zealand. TOAVX HALL ORGAN. The weekly municipal organ reci’al. will bo given in tho Town Hall tomorrow night at . 8 o’clock. Elgar’s “Pomp and Circumstance” march Smart’s air with variations and finale fugato, and AAhigner’s Good Friday music will bb included in the programme. On Wednesday evening the Permanent Force Recreation Club entertained the members of tho St. Peter’s Club at a social evening in the Alexandra Military Depot. Various games and competitions were indulged in. Tho following contributed to the musical programme;—Mr Bell, Corporal Sommerville, Gunners Stewart. R. Cooper, R, G. Porter and O’Sullivan. Air Alajor gave an interesting display of sleight-of-hand work, and the Permanent Force orchestra played several appropriate selections.
