Some anxiety was felt to-day at the non-arrival of tho Union Company's Manuka, which was due here from Lyttelton about daylight. ,At a late hour to-night she arrived off the heads with a vessel (supposel to bo a steamer) in tow, and accompanied by the Waipori, which had been sent out to search for her., The three vessels are anchored outside the heads, and will not come in until morning. The identity of tho vessel which was picked up is not known.
