NAPIER REGATTA. I'EESS ASSOCIATION■ NAPIER, February 21. Tlio Hawke’s Bay Rowing Association's regatta was hold at Wcstsnoro yesterday. Tho water was very choppy for tho first three races, but then wont down. No tunes wore taken. Results interesting to Wellington Maiden Sculls, one mile.—Gray (Wellington) 1, Brown (Napier) 2, Bonner (Petono) 3. Won by two lengths. Youths’ Fours, ono milo. —Napier 1, Aramoho 2, Wellington 3. Won by Tj lengths. Maiden Double Sculls, ono mile. — Wellington 1, Petono 2, Napier 3. Won by If lengths. Junior Sculls, ono milo. —Cato (Napier Union) 1, Hulhort (Wellington) 2. Brown (Napier) 3. Cato passed tho post with Hulbort’s boat resting on hia canvas. Cato had run into a yacht, and Hulhort piled his boat on top of Cato’s. Maiden Pairs, ono milo. —Wellington 1, Union (Napier) 2, Napier 3. Won by half a length. Junior Double Sculls, ono milo.— Wellington 1, Union (Napier) 2, Petono 3. Won by a length, half a canvas between second and third. STAR BOATING CLUB. Following are the results of the Star Boating Club’s Ladies’ Fours, rowed on Saturday : —First heat: Johnston’s crew 1, Barron 2, Robinson 3. Second heat: Brower’s crow 1, Bridge 2. Third heat: Lawrence’s crew 1, Brewer 2, Turner 3. Tho final will be rowed this afternoon.
